During his adventure in the underground prison, he met Captain Clown Buggy, Mr. 2 and Mr.3 ( former members of baroque works ) if u remember...
but when Luffy arrived at Level 4 he was defeated by the Chief of Impel Down who ate the Doku Doku fruit = poison... after absorbing many poison.. Luffy was sent to the frozen cages of impel down..... and Bon Chan A.K.A. Mr.2 tried to save him and copied the face of the Vice-Chief of Impel Down...

Luffy was dying and Ivankon told him that If you die the poison prevails but if u survive your willpower prevails... well Ivnkon tought that Luffy wll completely recover in 5 days but unexpectedly Luffy was healed in less than a day and asks for food :)... Ivankon's power is to change human hormones :P
