seemed to never run out of energy
believes in things just so easily
and what he doesn't understand is a MYSTERY.

anything big, he exclaims HUGE!
things that awes him - COOL!
then what for him is a treasure?
his Straw Hat, that's for sure.

his appetite, you can't beat
he loves to eat, his favorite is meat
sneaks up the kitchen and what he meets?
caught in the act by Sanji's wits!

he's got playmates - USOPP and CHOPPER
you'll find them running here and there
often bumps into a sleeping member
ZORO, the one who used to be pirate hunter!

his navigator is such a beauty
her name is "the ever cute NAMI"
according to his chef SANJI
her forte? treasure and money!

NAMI got really sick, she needed cure
on top of the snowy mountain is the doctor
there, LUFFY gets to meet a monster
that's our dear TONY TONY CHOPPER!

Oh, once they had with them VIVI and CARUE
tied a band in their arms, marks them true
a fight against CROCODILE to reveal his hue
that shichibukai, he doesn't have a clue!

one lady asked him to be part of his company
he says ALRIGHT just so suddenly
even if others look at her suspiciously
he accepted her undoubtedly.

after all the trouble, why did she have to leave?
whatever she said, LUFFY just can't believe.
betrayed? that's what it seemed
but it has to be said - must be confirmed.

chased her even up to ENIES LOBBY
she must speak up to them honestly
that's all she have to do, according to LUFFY
he'll reclaim her and continue their journey.

NICO ROBIN finally shouted IKIDAI!!!
the whole gang - all ready to face CP9
war against government is on the line
it doesn't matter, they'll be just fine!

GOING MERRY was the happiest ship ever
to be considered also a member
as much as possible, let go of him never
but alas! his days are over.

when LUFFY decided to part with MERRY
USOPP - can't help but disagree
if that's the case - let it be
so he challenged the captain LUFFY!

yes, he had a fight with USOPP
but he can't be tough nor soft
few moments i saw LUFFY'S heart broke
no need for words - Oh, why USOPP?

but then, all it takes is just a simple sorry
everything's back to normal suddenly
got a new ship THOUSAND SUNNY
made by the shipwright CYBORG FRANKY!

he fell in love with LUFFY and his company
wept all through-out, that cry-baby!
a cyborg - as huge as his body
when he cries, he cries so heavy!

then came across a humming skeleton
totally awed - that simpleton!
one talk, that's all it took
a new comrade - name is BROOK!

that's how he got all of them as company
though it seemed he chose them randomly
it's just that he likes them sincerely
he'll even fight for them whole-heartedly!

for him - a NAKAMA is everything
he doesn't regard them as his underling
he knows he can't do everything
though he claims he's gonna be "PIRATE KING"

so i'd say he's proud - yet so humble
nothing they can do to make him stumble
as long as he's willing and able
even his life, he will gamble!
